Will this sun shade fit my vehicle?

Standard reflective shades are universal-fit for windshields 60-70 inches wide (most U.S. sedans, SUVs, and crossovers). Each product page lists the unfolded dimensions — measure your windshield from corner to corner and compare. Larger trucks and minivans may need our XL size.

How do I install the sun shade?

Foldable shades unfold and wedge between the windshield and the visors (no suction cups needed). Retractable shades attach with two suction cups to the upper windshield. Side-window shades use 2-3 suction cups; clean the window with glass cleaner before applying.

Can the shade be folded after use?

Yes — foldable shades collapse into a circle that fits in the back seat or trunk. Retractable shades roll up into their housing. Storage pouches are sold separately or included depending on the model.

Will the shade damage the windshield or paint over time?

No — the reflective material does not interact with auto glass or dashboard plastic at standard summer temperatures. We recommend taking the shade down when the car is in motion (parked use only).

What UV protection does the shade provide?

Our reflective shades block 95-99% of UV-A and UV-B, measured at the shade surface. Side-window privacy shades block 60-80% of UV (some light passes for driver visibility).

Will the dashboard cover stop the dash from cracking?

The fabric dashboard cover blocks direct UV and absorbs heat — it significantly slows fading and cracking but does not stop it entirely. Combine with a windshield shade for best results.

Are the side-window suction cups reliable in summer heat?

Suction cups hold for 4-8 hours in 90-100°F parked conditions on clean glass. In sustained 100°F+ heat, expect 1-2 cups per day to release; reapply after cleaning. Static-cling shades (no suction) are an alternative — see the static-cling listing.

Can I return a shade I've installed?

Unused shades in original packaging — yes, within 30 days. Once a shade has been installed (suction cup residue, bent foldable frame, fabric crease patterns from use), it is non-returnable.
